This work offers the audience a fascinating perceptual experience and conceptually rich aesthetic statement. Though appearing as if cast or hewn from a solid mass of transparent material, each work is constructed as open-form sculpture built of mirrored sheet materials. This unique development of a sculptural trompe l’oeil  creates imagery that implies the structural form, weight, and perceptual aspects of glass objects, crystalline forms, and other transparent solids.
